We strive to be as transparent as possible from how much investing in your health will cost to how we work with you to meet your goals. Below are some of the most common questions we have received & additional information on who we are best suited to help. If you don't find what you're looking for, please reach out to us directly so we can address any concerns that may be holding you back from receiving the care you need.

10 Most Common Questions

  • I don't live in the U.S., can I work with you?
    Absolutely! Health is a universal concern and thankfully we are able to work with clients from all over the world. Please Note: Depending on where you live, you may not have access to certain lab tests or supplements. We will look into those details before confirming your application to ensure you are fully aware of how we can help you. We operate on Eastern Standard Time (EST - New York). Please be aware of ant time difference when scheduling appointments.
  • Are appointments virtual or in person?
    All of our appointments are currently virtual. All sessions will occur via our HIPPA-compliant video and audio service.
  • Can you replace my PCP?
    We do not replace your Primary care provider, or any other doctor! We work in tandem with your current providers to give your health the best possible care.
  • Do you prescribe medication?
    Great Question! Although our practice is run by a Doctor of Pharmacy, we do NOT prescribe any medications. We will review potential supplements that may be beneficial for any imbalances and deficiencies, but as always, we advise you to check with your primary care provider & other specialists before implementing, adjusting, or stopping any supplements. We will never tell you to stop taking your current medications. If we see cause for concern, we will advise you to speak to your doctor and we will help provide you with appropriate questions to ask the doctor on the subject in question!
  • Are supplements included in the price?
    We do not include supplements in our price, and here's why. Supplements can be very helpful and often necessary to assist your body in getting back to baseline! With that being said, every persons needs are different. We would not want to assume you need several supplements, include a hefty price tag to meet that assumption, and find out you only need a few. To save you money and give you more flexibility in choosing how much you want to spend on supporting your body, we review supplements that may be helpful to you and let you decide (with your doctor's oversight) which one's to buy.
  • What do I need to do before my first appointment?
    After your first appointment is confirmed, you will receive an introductory email giving you access to your patient portal, along with instructions to complete 3 new patient intake forms. All forms are online within your patient portal (no need for a printer!). We do require you to fill out the paperwork at least 1 week prior to your appointment so that we have enough time to thoroughly review your answers before your appointment. On the day of your appointment, you will need a wifi-connected device that has working video & audio. Use whichever device you are most comfortable with, whether that is your smart phone, computer or tablet. We ask that you log into your patient portal and click the video call link 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can help you troubleshoot if need be.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    We do not take any form of insurance. Insurance would limit how we could best help you by shortening appointment times and preventing you from receiving the labs and support needed to provide deeper insight and care for your health.
  • Do you offer payment plans?
    We do! We provide 3 and 5 month payment plans based on the package you are approved for, as well as case by case needs. We believe everyone should have access to patient-centered healthcare that seeks to stop dysfunction at the source. Being specialized in integrative health & functional medicine as well as a small business, we are able to provide you with the individual attention you deserve! All the time & specialized care does cost a pretty penny, and we understand money is tight all around. We want to make our services possible for you, so if you have any financial questions, we would be happy to answer them.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We ask that you notify us of any cancellation 48 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We know life throws curve balls and sometimes things come up last minute. There is no late fee for your first last minute cancellation. After that, we do charge a $75 fee before rescheduling your appointment.
  • How long will it take for me to see and feel results?
    This is a tough question because each person has a multitude of health symptoms and conditions that that they have been struggling with for varying amounts of time. As much as we want to provide you with a straight forward answer, it's not that simple. Each person will experience different changes tot heir health at different times and in different ways. We know that isn't the answer you were hoping for, but it is the honest answer. Be weary of anyone who guarantees a specific result in a certain time frame for health. We are all different and will respond differently to the same health plan. That is why we focus our efforts so heavily on individualizing our protocols to your unique needs. What we can say is that you will experience improvements in your quality of life equal to the time and effort yo put into the wellness plan that you are given, If you have been struggling with your health for many years, it will take time for your body to adjust back to it's healthier self. Improvements will come, we just can't tell you the exact time, place, or order in which you symptoms will improve.
